Artifact Caves. If you’re looking to beat any of the bosses on the Island, you’ll need to gather the Artifacts they require. These are found in 10 caves throughout the various regions, which each cave harboring one Artifact. The entrances are slightly different than in Ark: Survival Evolved, having shifted a small amount.Its not really a "low level" resource and is found inland up the mountains. Closest to a safe-ish would be the eastern most mountain as its kinda close to the beach. I agree with what zerassar said. However, obsidian is probably most often used to make polymer, in which case organic polymer can be used as a substitute.Its the only cave I make food for (curry), bring plenty of cooked meat too. Spare armor, nice amount of ammo (shotgun is a good option, yeti's and bear's have plenty of hp), and sleeping bags.
