For the past few months, I have been surfing the internet and canvassing the family for images of Ferriter faces. My motivation has in part been a desire to put together a “Face Board” collage or poster for everyone’s enjoyment during FFG2009. Also in part has been a life-long fascination with what people in our family look like.I am not a historian, but as a student of history, I have tried to apply the search for and application of sound source material in compiling a narrative of the Ferriter Family’s experience in West Kerry, and to a lesser extent elsewhere, following emigration.
