I like the finish of the Pro-Action shocks and they look more robust than the other two brands. I only rank Ohlins #2 because of the external reservoir. The black finish looks great and matches the theme of our bike.

I called Progressive and they assured me that the 944 does have a life time warranty. "If you wear it out, send it back and we will replace it." Depends what your after. The shorter shocks give the bike a nice stance and I'm sure some will give a better ride than even oem 13". But you sacrifice travel length and some lean angle.
