The control over the helicopter is insane if you learn AFM. BFM teaches you that throttle doesn't matter, in AFM throttle matters at every speed even you are flying straight. It takes far more concentration and skill to fly AFM. I would say 95% of AFM players are worse than a good BFM pilot.In Arma III, I have my helicopter "collective lower" set to left ctrl. Point your gun and shoot, just make sure you're going fast enough to not get shot back at. Also make sure you are in a good position so that anti air doesn't fire at you.
