After at least 15 secs. plug the gateway back in an let if fully reboot. If wireless make sure the access point for the wireless boxes is plugged in and has power. Make sure the same AP is plugged in via patch cord from the AP to the AT&T gateway. You might also try to reboot the gateway itself and see if that changes the behavior your seeing.
