Damn I thought I heard somewhere that they got rid of the tether. That's lame. There wasn't any thether distance on evolved just ~2000m from the host as soon there were 3+ players in the server. You can change the distance in non dedicated settings screen. The slider goes to 3x but you can type a number in the box next to it to override. Be warned though anything more than 5 or 6x will make a decent rig run crap. If u have a good pc just run a dedicated seperatly on it.
