We have been breeding enough rexes. Since we are not very good with breeding or ARK in general though, and we have never done a bossfight, we wonder if our rexes stats are good enough. Yesterday, my tribe and I successfully defeated the Alpha Broodmother for the first time. Initially, our tribe fought the Beta Broodmother with 18 megatheriums (~lvl 279, ~22k health, ~590% melee, ~47 armor saddles), one yuti (no imprinting, lvl 240ish) and a daeodon (no imprinting, lvl 240ish).

This will make room for focusing on Lystrix and make it not drain your health. You could also have some daeodons for healing if your base army has 40k- health each.
