Dear ATVC: My 2002-2004 Kawasaki prairie 650 makes a horrible ratcheting noise the second I hit the throttle in low gear. Also in high gear sometimes when I'm going down hills or just letting of the gas, the machine will make another ratcheting noise and pop the gear shifter into neutral.2002 Prairie 650 knock/pinging sound.
