Posted December 1, 2011. Drain the oil, fill the tranny with kerosene or diesel fuel, run it around the yard for about 15 or 20 minutes and drain it again. The diode is back inside that sleeve (see pic) You should have 14.5 or more volts when running. Solenoid has nothing to do with this issue.
